A little bit about me...

I am an ordained elder in the California Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC). I currently serve as the Lead Pastor of a Re-Start congregation in Costa Mesa- First United Methodist in Costa Mesa. I love speaking to groups of varying sizes all over the United States--and back in my home and native land Canada!

I was born in Newfoundland, Canada and spent my early years in Ontario, until my family moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1994. I kept close to my southern roots, attending the University of Southern Mississippi where I received Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology. While in undergrad I felt a call into ministry--and although I had no idea what that meant--I ended up attending Duke Divinity School where I earned my Master of Divinity degree in 2005.

The biggest blessings in my life are my random assortment of talented friends and my amazing mutt of a dog, Tenor. You can usually find Tenor and I enjoying a day off by running along the beach or stand up paddle boarding.

I have a passion for music, traveling, acting, creating art, designing spaces, watching sports and spending time playing in the gym. All of these eclectic joys make their way into my ministry.

Because I work out in the world so much writing and meeting with people, you can often find me at a coffee shop. (I adore coffee shops.) Here is the plot twist- I don’t like coffee, but I am completely addicted to iced tea.

I'm a yogi in training. I just recently discovered how amazing it can be both physically and mentally!

I love interior design and studying about it! I am constantly rearranging our home.

my dog Jet! He's the perfect little companion and always gets me out of the house when I need a break.

I have a passion for photography and love to take candid photos of friends and family!
